and also, addiction is another issue- it looks like you are already addicted to sugar.
you're "well-balanced means" are not going to make you healthy, because your excess sugar intake is upsetting that balance.
of course, no one can really cut candy off ccompletely, but you can cut back. and if weight gain is not a good enough motivation for you to cut sugar, then i'll guess you'll continue on until you develop some other major issues.
